Asteroid misses earth from hitting
It was said that the earth would end after the experiment of big bang but now another problem which just passed by seems to be more dangerous then the experiment. Scientist already announced in the past that There will be big Asteroid may hit or pass near the earth in 2009. Most of the people in the world didn’t know about that. Even regular users of internet, Blogs and T.V news didn’t get chance to feel fear about it.
It was estimated to be between 30 and 50 meters wide, and was closer to Earth than the moon. But it was still far 240,000 miles away from earth when it was passed. It was the largest object that passes near from earth. The asteroid was big enough to destroy earth’s environment and create hazardous impact to living species.
The asteroid was first observed by Robert McNaught at the Siding Spring Observatory near Coonabarabran, funded by NASA. He was also calculated that it will just miss hitting Earth. The Asteroid was named DD45.
The official information was not given to media and public before it was passed. There wasn’t need to create any panic. Robert Mc Naught from Australian National University said that we have still many possibility of pushing it back or destroy it in smaller piece if we have advance warning. We can also evacuate the area of impact, if we don’t have enough time.
