Usually on a joomla site we want users to search for articles, so we can disable some of these search plugins:-
* Search – Weblinks
* Search – Contacts
* Search – Categories
* Search – Sections
* Search – Newsfeeds
You can disable the above search plugins by going to
Extensions –>Plugin Manager > search for the keyword “search” or find them manually
2. If you don’t have Uncategorized Articles or Archived Articles, you can disable them from
Extensions–>Plugin Manager–>Search Content
The above techniques will help you greatly increase the speed of Joomla.
