Sachin Tendulkar today took an oath of becoming Rajya Sabha member. Sachin who is the highest run holder in the history of cricket and one of the most famous players in India was award Rajya Sabha membership. Sachin took an oath in the presence of the vice president Dr. Hamid Ansari. Sachin said that, “In the last 22 years of my international career, cricket has given me so much and I also wanted to give something back to cricket in the latter half of my life. In a high scoring match at Feroz Shah Kotla Delhi, between Delhi Daredevils and Royal Challengers Bangalore only one man was the center of attraction it was Chris Gayle. He made an unbeaten 128 runs hitting 13 sixes and 7 boundaries of just 62 balls. No ball or no bowler was left , playing along side him was Virat Kohli who also made an unbeaten 73 runs allowing RCB to make 215 runs by the fall of just one wicket in 20 overs. In yesterday’s IPL matches, first match was won by Mumbai Indians against RCB and second was won by CSK against KKR in the Kolkata home ground of KKR. Dwayne Smith was the hero of the match from Mumbai Indians he hit Ben Hilfenhaus for 14 of the last three balls which allowed the Mumbai Indians to win the match against Chennai Super Kings.Chennai Super Kings batted first and made 173/8 at match number 49 in Wankhede Stadium. In today’s IPL 5 match number 21 Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Pune warriors thanks to some wayward bowling by Nehra in the last over. Where Nehra gave more than 24 runs allowing the opposition team to win. Earlier PWI made a huge total of 182 runs which was reduced to half when Gayle hit the ball all around the stadium and made a quick 81 runs of 48 balls. But it was the last over which made the difference and allowed RCB to pick up a victory.
