India Vs Srilanka 5th ODI at at Adelaide Oval, ended in a draw. The match was streched by the batsman from Indian cricket team till the last ball. After Gautum Gambhir got out trying to steal a cheeky run along side Dhoni, the team seemed suseptible. Dhoni also managed to abet Irfan Pathan in getting run out who seemed to be hitting hard shots. Sachin got out early and seems he won’t be doing any good in Australia in this series. After which Rohit Sharma, Virat all were out for 15 runs. Some good bowling from Srilankan’s and better field placement prevent the flow of runs in the middle overs. As what Dhoni was trying to do was to extend the match till the last over but it proved fatal as the match ended in a draw. Here is the complete score card.
It was later found that Srilanka had bowled only 299 bowls instead of 300 balls. Malinga bowled only 5 bowls in 30th over of the match no one had seen the problem and later the critics were raised against the umpires.
