Times Square on 16 December 2011 put on display some of the oldest scrolls in the world. The Oldest Parchment of the Ten Commandments, these were a part of the Dead Sea was displayed. The event was named “Dead Sea Scrolls: Life and Faith in Biblical Times” exhibition at Discovery Times Square in New York City. The show had in display preserved manuscripts of the Ten Commandments, features hundereds of artifacts, originating from archeological explorations by the Israel Antiquites Authority there was also a three ton stone from the Holy Land’s Western Wall on which the visitors used to pray. Seems like on the biggest torrent site has been blocked by Airtel ISP along with Reliance as well. So Indian users now have to start buying movies and refrain from downloading from torrent sites. Dailymotion the video site which is owned by Google, and Extratorrent.com which is a torrent site and allows you to download movies videos and other free stuff, was blocked by Indian ISP’s today. When I tried to open it, it gave me an error saying the site has been blocked by court orders. The government was earlier keen to block sites like Google and Facebook as well. Hopefully extratorrent might come up with some other domain soon.
