Big Boss 9 results sprang up a surprise with Prince Narula winning the crown of the hugely popular show, with a larger margin than many had expected. The reality show prince, dubbed as the hunky lad beat his closest competitor Rishabh Sinha, Mandana Karimi and Rochelle Rao to emerge winner and pocket the prize money. Audience were given a tough choice to choose from and the Rochelle was first to be evicted.
Then it was he turn of Mandana. Rishabh was the one who gave him a tough fight till the finish, but the Prince of the night was Prince Narula, who dedicated the prize to Kishwar Merchant, who was also a participant in this year’s Bigg Boss was evicted.
The final voting figures which have been obtained are:
1) Prince Narula – 35,18,909 Votes
2) Rishabh Sinha – 34,01,889 Votes
3) Mandana Karimi – 32,67,008 Votes
4) Rochelle Maria Rao – 27,56,708 Votes
It is interesting to note that Prince started his career with modelling and was adjudged the runners up Mr. Punjab 2014 contest.He is also known for his charming and killer attitude. The finale episode of Bigg Boss Nau was a sort of emotional reunion for him and Merchant, who has been open for his love for Kishwar. Prince had also auditioned for the hit ‘MTV Roadies’ show, considered to be one of gruelling reality shows – and came on top. Having bagged a seat among the top 21 contenders, he crossed all hurdles and emerged as the winner. He won a bike and cash prize worth Rs. 5 lakhs.
He also featured in the reality show ‘Splitsvilla’, where he was seen romancing and a playboy. With his free spirited nature, he was liked the most on the show, this kept him going and earned him the title for Splitsvilla as well.
Even though many in the show didn’t see him go far this long, and coming across as a person who is subdued, many didn’t want to partner with him. But, Prince emerged as the real dark horse, beating all this opponents tooth and nail and emerged the ultimate warrior at the end. At the end, everyone was satisfied that he won.
Katrina Kaif and Aditya Kapoor graced the occasion with Salman Khan for promoting their upcoming movie Fitoor.
