This is an article on the mediocre services of HDFC Phone banking and net banking services. The more secure you are the more problematic the system becomes this is what happened with HDFC Bank. Recently one of my friends who mistakenly entered a wrong answer to 1 of the 4 security questions asked to him was banned from using netbanking services. His net banking services were not working, he could not make online payments, buy tickets etc.
On inquiring about the problem they said human interaction is needed either with the person at the Bank or at Customer care on phone. Being away from home he tried calling the people at Customer care, but it seems that all Customer care executives were busy with Credit Card holders no services were available for those poor indigent people who had debit cards. The Electronic answering machine gave every option but was missing on options for netbanking services and “Talk to Customer care”.
Yes things are missing on various levels at this high level private Bank. HDFC Bank is running in various countries, and quality services are expected from it.
