Windows Vista 7 Xp Explorer Crashes on opening Video Folder or CD Fix

If you are using Windows Vista, XP or 7 operating System and the OS crashes when browsing or opening a Video folder or Video CD here is a fix that might work for you. First we will look at the easy solution for Xp users and then for the Vista users

Xp Users

Open My Documents > goto view (select anything but thumbnails view option)

Click Tools > Folder options > View Tab > click Apply to all folders >click yes

If the above doesnt work then see if you have video software like Cyberlink power Dvd installed like in my case it was then go here and download the patch just run the patch and everything will work normally.

Above error occurs when two or more softwares video players try to generate thumbnails for videos and images, struggling for resources.
