We all like the veg or non veg Manchurian that is sold on the Chinese restaurants and open shops but now you can make a healthy Manchurian at your home. Here is Gobhi Manchurian or Cauliflower Manchurian, you can make this recipe in no time, and it can be served with fried rice, noodles or a bowl of maggi. So here is the complete recipe on how to make Cauliflower Manchurian at your home.
Cauliflower: 1 Medium sized cut into Florette
Spring onions – finely chopped
Ginger – 2tsp finely chopped
Garlic – 1tsp finely chopped
Plain flour – ¼ cup
Cornflour – 3 tsp
Red chilli powder – ¼ tsp
Red chillies – 2 dry
Oil – 3 tbsp
Water – 1 ½ cups
Milk – 1 tbsp
Recipe :- Add about 2 table spoon cornflour to flour, add 1/4 teaspoon of ginger, garlic and chilli powder with salt to taste.
Boil the cauliflower for about 4-5 minutes in water and add a tablespoon of milk to it. After which you should drain the florettes in a cloth and remove excess water, pat it dry.
Then dip the florettes in the batter you made earlier, and deep fry them in oil till they turn brown.
Add red chilli powder to the left over oil and left over ginger, garlic and saute for 1 minute. Add the chopped spring onionsand salt. When you are done add some water to this and boil. Then add cornflower to it and wait till it is dissolved. Add the water to the gravy so that it thickens. Stir till it starts boiling again till the gravy gets transparent. Your gravy for the Manchurian is prepared.
Now put the cauliflower florettes into into the of gravy you have just prepared and add some soya sauce to taste. Boil for about two more minutes. Serve it hot with rice or noodles.
