The characters in the movie are voiced by Jesse Eisenberg, Anne Hathaway, Rodrigo Santoro, Bebel Gilberto, Kate del Castillo, Jamie Foxx, will.i.am, Tracy Morgan, George Lopez, Jake T. Blu enjoying his life in the jungle before the trap and illegally taken away in a small town. He saved by a young girl Linda. Linda (Leslie Mann) and Blu become the best friends , even they brush their teeth together and they lived in a small town in Minnesota. Romance between Blu and Jewel, is the essence of this playful animated film. This is because the characters gain courage and spirit with the voice-overs by Jesse Eisenberg and Anne Hathaway. These two chained together birds seeks survival in the city spread bird cockatoos kidnappers evil, evil monkeys, and very exciting carnival.
Director Carlos Saldanha (ICE AGE) creates a wonderful story, high on emotion. The relationship between Linda and Rio is glad. Technically the film is a celebration with state-of-the-art animation. Jungles of South America and the sprawling city of Rio riot of colors, especially when the peak was built up during the carnival. The script is witty and causes many a chuckle here and there.
