The “Monk” actor died at age 65, Tuesday, after a heart attack.
Stanley Kamel, best known as Dr. Kroger from the popular television show Monk, was found dead in his Hollywood Hills home Tuesday, eFluxMedia.com reported. The 65-year-old actor reportedly died from a heart attack.
Kamel was a favorite on the USA network’s series Monk, E! News reported. USA stated, according to E!, “Stanley was an amazingly talented and extremely kind man, and an important member of the USA family. He will be sorely missed.”
It was only a week ago that Kamel was promoting USA in Los Angeles, E! reported.
He was born Jan. 1, 1943 in New Brunswick, N.J., the San Jose Mercury News reported. He spent nearly four decades of his life acting. His roles, OK Magazine reported, have included spots on The West Wing, Six Feet Under, Melrose Place, The Golden Girls, Days of Our Lives, Murder One, and Beverly Hills 90210.
