The Grammy Awards 2011 have been rewarded to the best of the stars in the music industry. the 53rd Annual Grammy award saw some unexpected celebs who found themselves with the Grammy. Jazz bassist and singer Esperanza Spalding grabbed the Best New Artist trophy, leaving behind chart-toppers like Justin Bieber and Drake, and Indie darlings Arcade Fire won the coveted Album of the Year trophy, beating out pop biggies like Lady Gaga and Katy Perry, heavily nominated MC Eminem and country stars Lady Antebellum.
Lady Antebellum was honoured with 5 awards which included Song of the Year and Record of the Year. John Legend and the Roots’ joint project Wake Up! as well as Jay-Z scored three awards (none were televised), while 10-time and six-time nominees Eminem and Gaga both walked away with two and three trophies, respectively.
