The U2 tour 2027 is coming to the big stadiums of Europe. On 29 October 2026 the band put out the UK and European dates for Carnaval De Luz presents: The Greatest Show On Earth World Tour. I read the list twice, just to be sure. Twelve shows. Seven cities. And yes, London is on it.
The run opens in Stockholm on 26 April 2027. Wolf Alice are the support act. It ends in Milan with two nights at San Siro on 5 and 6 July. Spain is missing for now. The band says those dates will be announced soon.

One small thing. A music news site I checked lists Milan as a single night on 5 July. The official U2.com list shows two nights, 5 and 6 July. I’d trust the band’s own page on that.
Where the world tour begins
Europe is not the first stop. The tour starts in Latin America. The first show is in Mexico City on 23 February 2027, with Beck opening. After that come São Paulo and Buenos Aires in March. Most of those nights sold out fast, so extra dates were added in all three cities.
North America is next. U2 says the 2027 dates there will come “in the coming weeks.” The new album, Carnaval De Luz, lands on 13 November 2026, so there is a lot going on in the U2 camp right now.
The band also turned 50 this year. They marked it in September with a lunchtime show at their old school, Mount Temple Comprehensive, and a surprise set on Grafton Street in Dublin. And the Edge has already looked ahead to 2028. He said the tour will wrap up in Ireland. “There’s nowhere else we’d want to be for that party,” he said. Honestly, that line made me smile.
How the U2 presales work
There are four ways in. Here they are in order.
U2.com subscriber presale. It starts on Monday 2 November 2026 at 10am GMT. Subscribers in the Feedback Group go on Monday. The Hype Group goes on Tuesday. Your unique code comes by email before the sale. If you subscribe now, you join the Hype Group, so you get day two.
Visa presale. This one runs on Wednesday 4 November, from 10am to 10pm local time, while supply lasts. It is for Visa cardholders in the UK and EU. You buy through visa.com/u2.
Artist presale. This opens on Thursday 5 November at 10am local time. The catch is the sign-up. You have to register by Sunday 1 November at 10:59pm GMT, which is 11:59pm CET. Stockholm, Amsterdam, London and Berlin share one sign-up link on the U2 site. Paris and Milan use another. Lisbon is not part of this presale at all.
General sale. Whatever is left goes on sale on Friday 6 November at 10am GMT through U2.com.
A word on Ticketmaster. For its artist presales you don’t need a code. Access is linked to your account. Other ticket sites may still ask for one. Ticketmaster may also ask some fans for a quick selfie check. In rare cases it asks for ID through a service called Persona. The idea is to keep bots and touts out. A bit of a hassle, sure. I’d still take it over losing a ticket to a bot.
What will U2 tickets cost?
Let me be clear here. No ticket prices have been published for the UK and Europe shows yet. So anything you read about exact prices right now is a guess.
What follows is my own estimate, not official. Prices will likely differ by city and currency. Stadium shows tend to have a wide range, from seats high up in the stands to standing tickets and pricier packages. Prices may also change with demand on some sites. Bono even joked to The New York Times that fans “probably pay too much to see us.” Make of that what you will.
My advice is simple. Pick a budget before the sale opens and stick to it. Buy only from U2.com, the official ticket links on it, or the Visa page. Be careful with resale listings that pop up before the general sale even starts.
My tips for ticket day
Set up your ticket site account today and check that the login works. Register for the artist presale before the Sunday deadline. Don’t fixate on one night either. If London sells out while you’re stuck in the queue, Amsterdam or Paris might still have seats. Oh, and please don’t open five tabs on three devices. One phone or laptop, decent Wi-Fi, done. Keep your card close. And breathe. It usually feels worse than it is.
