India Vs Srilanka 8th ODI Commonwealth Bank Tri Series 21 Feb India looses

India has once again lost in Australia this time with Srilanka in the 8th ODI of the Commonwealth Bank Tri Series held today 21 February 2012. First it was the was the poor performance and wayward bowling by the bowlers who didn’t seem to be projecting any threat to the Sri Lankan batsman. Lahiru Thirimanne proved the  best batsman with 62 runs. Nearly all the batsman from the Sri Lankan side managed to reach double figures.

On the other hand Sehwag who was the captain did too many experiments he chose to select 8 bowlers to bowl. And to the surprise of everyone, the last two overs were bowled by Raina and Virat Kohli who gave more than 40 runs in the last few overs.Last 10 overs gave 90 runs.

Later when it was time for India to bat, Sehwag went out for a duck and later Sachin followed him by getting out played on. Sachin didn’t seem very confident for guy who has more than 10 thousand runs he was awful. Later Kohli and Raina tried to save the innings by a good partnership to cut down the 290 score of Sri Lanka. But all was in vain. Later, Pathan made 47 runs quickly but no one was on other side to help him.
