In a run pounding match where the bowlers were hit for more than 600 runs in total India won the CB Series 11th ODI match on 28th Feb 2012. Batting first the Srilankan open Dilshan and Wicket Keeper Sangakkara both made there centuries. Which helped Srilanka in reaching a total of 320 runs. India had to make these runs in 40 overs in order to get bonus points and remain in the contest. First the quick opening partner ship of Tendulkar and Sehwag gave a decent start to India both made 30 and 39 runs respectively in few balls. Though both got out foolishly the youngsters Gambhir and Kohli then batted well to make 63 and 133 runs respectively to assist India to reach the target of 321 in 36.4 overs only.Virat Kohli and Suresh Raina were the last batsman who were not out Kohli made a 133 run score on just 86 balls while Raina made 40 not out.
